Our approach to recruitment and selection is fundamentally different to that of our competitors in that we rarely advertise unless a client specifically requests it. By maintaining a behind-the-scenes profile this enables us to contact candidates confidentially without exposing them, and sets us apart from others.

As you can expect from a high profile company, our standards and ethics are highly professional as our many satisfied clients will verify. We are proud to claim that our policy of not sourcing candidates from client companies is a very real and meaningful one. Our consultants are also salaried, and therefore, unlike many of our competitors, our main focus is to place the right candidate within your company as opposed to making financial targets.

Our assistance can take on many different formats, depending on your specific needs, but we generally undertake two styles of operation. First of all, we can provide a comprehensive and confidential search and selection programme for senior management and executive level recruitment, on a fully retained basis, with the fees divided into stage payments throughout the assignment. Alternatively, we can undertake assignments on a contingency basis, with payment on results, but reserve the right to invoice a small administration fee as a contribution to our costs in the event of cancellation of an assignment.

We are highly competent in the design of job descriptions, person specifications, preparing company profiles, advertising design (where appropriate) and undertaking preliminary interviews for short listing purposes. This is supplemented by a simple but effective psychometric test to assess personality and working style.

Consultants to the Board of Directors


We have undertaken a number of consultancy projects and feasibility studies working closely with the Board of Directors including an operational study and manning guide for three islands in the Indian Ocean; A feasibility and operational study for a 200 bedroom luxury Hotel in Austria; The development of the total operations, purchasing and systems for a Restaurant Group in Greenwich; and a long term brief in developing operations, systems, manning strategies and sales and marketing plans for a major Event Company.

Due Diligence project
Consultancy brief and full report on the proposed acquisition of a major Hotel Group including key staff evaluation, potential operational problems and logistical strategy alliances.

Staff Attitudinal Surveys
A very confidential Staff Attitudinal Survey for a major 500 bedroom Hotel in London with one to one interviews and confidential questionnaire. Follow up survey carried out six months later.

Salary Surveys
Salary Surveys for middle and senior hotel management within 4* and 5* Hotels in all major cities within Brazil and Germany for a major hotel chain.

Bench-marking , middle and senior hotel management salaries within London 5* Hotels for a major Hotel Group.

On-going Psychometric Testing and evaluation of Management Team Groupings
Evaluation of Management Teams for a variety of companies including the SEOS Group, CCA International, RMS Tenerife, Woods River Cruises and for graduate recruitment of IT professionals in South Africa.

Organisational and Marketing Survey of a 50 bedroom Hotel in Morecombe
Examining the potential of this hotel in its' market positioning and in advising the client before purchase.

Management Audit for Hotel Group in Italy
Complete survey of the Management team, competence's and responsibilities at a Corporate level, as part of the overall strategic re-alliance of the group structures, working directly with the Managing Director of this four star group.

Training
Carried out one-to-one training for Microsoft Excel on board each ship for the whole of the Cunard Seabourn Fleet over a period of six months

As clients constantly change according to the economies and needs of the companies, it would be inappropriate to mention them all; suffice it to say that we service the majority of the large hotel chains around the world, some more than others, plus many of the privately owned and luxury boutique resorts, including many small 'leading hotels of the world'. As economies and events change, so do also the areas that form the basis of our recruitment activities, but we are particularly strong in Europe, Middle East, North Africa, The Maldives and Asia.
