IT Manager - Maldives - GM/3267

We are looking for an experienced male candidate to direct, organize and control the activities of the IT Department. Thorough, hands-on knowledge of complete network planning, installation, implementation, maintenance, security, trouble shooting and back-up systems is a must. Thorough, hands on practical knowledge of computerized Property Management Systems, hardware and software, is a must. Ideally, knowledge of Opera V4.0, Micros-Fidelio Financial Accounting systems, SUN system, MF Point of Sales. A proven and stable track record is a must. Resort and island working experience is an added advantage. Previous working experience in the same or equivalent position in the hotel and resort industry is required. The IT Manager reports to the Financial Controller. Fully furnished housing with housekeeping service, single occupancy, and meals are provided. 30 days annual leave, return airfare from point of hire, work related medical coverage. The position is on single status. The contract issued will be for the duration of one year, as this is a Maldivian government regulation for foreign work permits, however, they will expect a “moral commitment for a minimum of two years. The work permit can easily be extended.

Reporting directly to the Executive Head Chef, this is a good chance for a young Asian Chef of South East Asian nationality (Philippine, Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese etc), who possess good knowledge of overall Asian cuisine.
