food and beverage Manager - maldives

This position would suit a Food & Beverage Manager who is presently in a similar position who wants to work at the top end of the Market in one of the best resort Hotels in the world.

 

For the right person this position will be for a starting date late August for a short handover period for complete take over first week September

 

 

The resort has  3 restaurants , a Fine Dining, A Grill and an all day dining Restaurant. They also offer a dining experience dining on and off the island.

 

The Food and Beverage team is made up of 54 people from The Maldives and Indonesia.

 

Any  candidate should have the following attributes

 

·         ·         Male

·         ·         Swiss, German, Dutch, Austrian

·         ·         38 years old and above

·         ·         Hotel School graduate

·         ·         Single status

·         ·         Extensive F&B Management experience in Luxury 5 star Resorts in challenging environments

·         ·         Needs to have been a F&B Manager for at least 5 years in a similar environment

·         ·         Prior Maldives experience or prior experience on an island is desired. Caribbean, French Polynesia

·         ·         Prior experience in 5 star city environment will count in their favor

·         ·         Must have strong business acumen. Motivate staff to up sell various dining options and alternative dining experiences.

·         ·         Extensive wine and food knowledge

·         ·         Strong training skills. This should be from induction to Butler level training with a strong emphasis on guest service.

·         ·         Strong attention to detail abilities are imperative. The General Manager is a professional and expects his F&B operation to be as near to prefect as possible

·         ·         Spoken languages are preferably: French, German, Italian and English

-          -       30 days annual leave with annual leave ticket to place of employment

-          -       2 x 5 day R&R breaks with 2 x R&R tickets to the value of $400 each
